Availability is the percentage of time a service or system is operational under defined measurement rules. Headline availability is less useful than knowing the measurement point, exclusions, maintenance windows, and remedy.
Electrical room is a dedicated space for switchgear, panels, transformers, UPS equipment, or distribution equipment. Room size, access, clearances, fire separation, cooling, and maintenance paths can constrain usable data hall planning.
